steady diet of ennui

Since 9:30am today I:

• Wished I slept as well in my bed as I did Andy's.
• Watched the sun slide across the sky.
• Visited websites that are probably bad for my sanity.
• Visited websites that wasted my time.
• Contemplated converting my room to bunkbeds instead of lofts, but concluded it was too much work for such a tired day.
• Nearly failed at laundry.
• Failed at having an iron.
• Felt like screaming.
• Felt like throwing something.
• Felt like I shouldn't feel those things.
• Felt innocent.
• Felt unwise.
• Contemplated my future and the infinite choices that only I can make.
• Contemplated our lack of toilet paper.
• Put off cleaning up the party stuff in my room.
• Put off eating.
• Put off doing the dishes so I can eat.
• Failed at writing a poem.
• Wanted nothing more than to fall asleep on a beach blanket in the grass.
• Contemplated the irony of a Japanese exchange student watching Lost in Translation with English subtitles.
• Was annoyed that Brian was here but couldn't place why.
• Felt pleased with last night.
• Felt frightened about last night.
• Worried about next week.
• Worried about the week after it.
• Will have to eat dinner eventually.
• Will have to make my bed.
• Won't have to clean the bathroom if I don't feel like it.
• Will have to clean the bathroom before Tuesday.
• Would really like to get more studying in.
• Finished this ginormous list.
• Realized it's been a long day and it's only 5 p.m.

that is pretty amazing list, but the subtitles is one of the most funny things ive ever heard, japanese exchange student watching lost intranslation, i dont even want to imagine what that poor kid is contemplating right now
