...I would rather add some life to my years
Oh, what day is it? Tuesday? It's a bit of a blur. What's the date now, let me see... 16th. Ok. I can't remember last week, so I'll start at the weekend, uh, Saturday I helped roof the shed. More of the same Sunday. Oh, wait, now I remember. Thursday I trained again at WIS. Friday I worked a bit at SBP and came home. Right. Yesterday I was in Burlington counting paper towels at Haggen's, today I spent 10 hours counting screws, hinges and other tiny bits of metal at Lowe's.
You better believe it, folks. It's as boring as it sounds. It's honest work, which is the most I'll say for it. My dad would say it "builds character". Actually, he wouldn't, but I think he would if he were prone to spouting such tripe.
I may be about to kill my co-workers though. Typical of your average low-requirement job, the people are either veddy foreign or veddy dumb. This kid Stephen says to me today, "if you had a mind for languages you could pick up about 5 around here." And I guess it makes sense, I mean it doesen't matter if you say two, four, six or dos, quattro, ses, it's just counting.
Anyway, that's boring as sin (which ironically is rarely boring) and I'll try to keep from talking about it. Far more fun is how I get to sleep in and work my other job, the high-paying one tomorrow, and get home at a reasonable hour, and play a lot of CS. Good things.

Is this for real? They purpose to reveal stuff about the new scenes in the 4-disc LOTR dvd, but some of this stuff is lol-worthy.
What is this, a musical?! But that's been done already! (And poorly, might I add.) Interestingly enough, if you're desperate—and have a hackable dvd player—you could just buy the current movie and be done with it. Pretty reasonable price, too. Too bad everyone's waiting for that damn November 4-disc set. I hope these "musical interludes" will be worth it. <grimace> "Frodo, of the niiiine fingers..."
I heard there was a picnic this Saturday, I'm all over that. NEXT Saturday night, I've got a woman comin' to town, so brace yourselves for the meet-n-greet. I want her to see all you nice people so you can argue whether emo exists with someone who didn't know about it in the first place.
