I blame geese
Sep. 26th, 2004 11:46 amSo in response to your musing, yes it would be nice to be a goose because you'd be covered in down feathers 24 hours a day. I have to settle for the 8ish hours I sleep at night, though sometimes my body decides that's not enough and stays under the covers a bit longer than I expect.
Such was the case this morning when I awoke enough to check the clock around half past 9am, realized there was no way I was going to make it out the door in a safe-to-drive condition in 15 minutes, so I rolled across the floor to the phone, called the Lobster house to confess my paganry, and rolled back to bed for another hour.
I feel... appropriately guilty about it, and the beautiful weather doesn't help matters, but what can you do.
I had nothing else planned for today. I should enjoy this while I can, lazy Sundays for the next nine months will typically be interrupted by deadlines.
