look up, to the storms we will fly
Nov. 1st, 2004 08:40 pmThe weather outside is terrifying and comforting. To coin a phrase, my snow globe is shaking and the wind currents are howling. To look outside and see what's in my heart roaring through the trees and splattering rain on the windows is at least familiar. In some ways it's like having the world's biggest paintbrush.
I stood outside Communications for 10 minutes today, letting the rain soak into my hair and the wind blow cold on my neck. I had to do something to wake myself up and remind me I was alive. Being cold and wet makes you remember very quickly.
I get the feeling it's going to be a very long week.

We are not sanctified for ourselves. Through those doorways God is opening up ways of fellowship with His Son... If God can accomplish His purposes in this world through a broken heart, then why not thank Him for breaking yours?-Chambers
