As if on cue, september brings her angular sunlight, her 3 fewer degrees, and begins summer's long lullaby.

More meteors last night, the Augurids this time. A short but extremely intense show of bright green trails and starlight. Had a big crowd to see it, too, which was wonderful. Next time, telescopes and star maps.

We have a new tenant downstairs, whom I haven't yet met. We've got the next six months to know each other. Luke says we'll get new decks this fall, and thankfully I'll be here to barbecue on them.

Next week begins the second major business stage at Treemo. We're hiring again, and moving "soon."

High clouds, so blissfully absent last night, listlessly drift across a summer sky.

So August ends, and September's patient beauty curls up at the feet of a wondering world.
