Leonids

Just returned from watching the meteor shower for 1.5 hours. Quite a show. Y'all missed a good one. Plenty of these, except, no clouds. It was nothing like a meteor a second, but I wasn't exactly in the darkest remotest field around. It was some cul-de-sac out east with good eastern exposure. Way too bright for my liking but the snohomish valley (where I started) was totally fogged in and impossible to see. It was like peanut butter. A shame, too, because it would've been really good out there, with nothing for miles and miles. Oh well. I feel good about it. Really something you should try once, it'll spoil you on shooting stars for life.

Pete was driving me home and there was an awesome one that looked super low. Probably the best one I've seen since that rocket came down over washington in like 98 or something and I was lucky enough to see it. That was amazing.. Anyone remember that?

I remember the event, you were obviously VERY lucky to see it. Comparable stuff was happening all last night though. It was teh win.
