Jun. 2nd, 2001 12:39 pmGosh, ok, life's kind of weird. On Wednesday we had the big church Senior send-off - I got my 5 minutes of mind-speaking with that youth group and it was weird. I'm not sure if telling them they've been jerks was the right mood to set. But hey, I had to say it. I hope they think of it later. I don't think some mushy "you've all been so good to me" would have worked because 1) that's not entirely true and 2) isn't that what everyone else said? Why say that?
I have all of Clifton's computer parts here but neither of us have the time for me to actually turn them into a computer. So they'll sit there until mid-June until we can take a day to put all that stuff together and use it. It's a shame, really... he was in such a hurry to get all this and now that I have it he doesn't want to work for it.
We have tons of relatives over here right now, and you know what? I don't know why they're here. Usually I've a pretty clear idea. Not this time. I suspect it's Confirmation Sunday but the ironic part is that they'll all be back in 2 weeks for my sister's ballet recital (remember that? The one I'm missing Radiohead at the Gorge for? Yeah, that one).
Speaking of Radiohead I got my will-call ticket sent to me, which is good because I used my dad's credit card to buy them and couldn't have picked them up. But it was $11 registered mail. Oh well, the $132CDN turned out to be $86US which ain't bad at all. I hope the venue is good.
I got a wonderful thing in the mail yesterday, from a very kind girl who I'd love to thank personally but... the thing was a prerelease CD copy of the new Bjork, and she'd probably not like to be identified. Which is a shame, because I'd thank her personally and specifically in large public forums if I could. It's SO amazing the difference between MP3 and CD - don't let Joshtell you otherwise. :)
I read a great article last night about slowing down as summer approaches. It was so appropriate because I'm almost constantly mourning my lack of friendly interaction with people - I'm just too busy. Even last night, I couldn't go pick up the Taylor-man because I had too much sleeping and too much programming to do. Do you know how much that sucks? I haven't seen or heard from Taylor in nearly 3 months and on the day he comes back I can't see him because of homework?? How lame!
So to make up for it, I want everyone who reads this to comment with some urgent message so I have an excuse to talk to people and can fend off my parents when I'm not working. :) Thanks in advance guys.

And good for you telling your senior class what you felt. I have lots of respect for that.

I guess I can hope. It's hard to be proud of it when you aren't even sure it'll do any good. Thanks for the respectage though.
darn right
Oh, and your life is interesting, you just don't know it yet.
Jonathan.
