Man, I wish I'd known that you did end up having it. I would've brought over a copy of SOF2 for you guys to play around with.

I actually got a copy of that, though it didn't install very reliably. Not sure about its future as a party game... will have to spend some more time with it. Ryan and I spent 20 minutes kicking each other's asses with throwing knives and shotgun butts. :D And there's pistol-whipping! The brutality alone made it a riot. I might try it next time, hopefully I can find a more reliable install and play method than just mounting the .bins with daemon-tools.

much like the "graphics made the game"(mark rein=dumbass) for ut2k3, the brutality makes the game for sof2.
the pistol whipping and the smaller shotgun were pretty cool, but I didnt like it all that much aside from that.
if they made sof2 even bloodier it would proilly be more fun. =X
