Inspite of how much he will be missed here on earth . . .
it makes me smile at all the things God has planned for him up there.

True. Heaven is a happier place with him there. I wonder about the timing as we head into another world war. :|

And the Evangelion is is good, very well-made. Judgement of my enjoyment will have to be reserved for the end of the series; this is a show with not just "minor" but severely depressing moments. Depending on mood, they can be bravura Anime moments or oh-my-god-i-so-did-not-need-that moments. So I'll keep my counsel for now. Thanks again for lending it.
