So that little office party I anticipated turned out to be an all-out kegger that co-workers happened to be throwing. I was a little surprised. My boss even showed up. He brought his own beer though. Snob.

This coming from a non-drinker, though.

Anyway after two quarters I can say that I have been to a college party in the truest sense, and I had a decent time. Can't say for sure I would want to go to another one though. Maybe if there were more people I knew or something.

Though it is possible to not drink at a college party and have fun, I don't think it's very probable. They're all about getting smashed and winding up in the corner with a similarly smashed person of the opposite sex.

...Which can be fun, but not at an office party, I think. Too many bad things could happen afterwards.
