I certainly didn't expect it to go that way, but in retrospect I can't imagine how yesterday's party could've been better. I'm bloody exhausted but I have no regrets.

That was just your fear. I felt very sick and very hot and very 'not much like spending 12 hours sitting at a computer, getting in stupid geeky arguments and denying myself sleep in a hot room' before the lan. Fortunately none of the above happened and some really cool stuff happened instead.
