NEW YORK -- In a horrific sequence of destruction, terrorists crashed two planes into the World Trade Center and knocked down one of the 110-story towers Tuesday morning. Explosions also rocked the Pentagon and the State Department and spread fear across the nation.

no kidding. my uncle works in the white house/pentagon and is currently stuck somewhere in a metro station being evacuated, or at least we're assuming. we don't really know where he is :( keep him in mind, will you?

okay, we found him. i guess he was evactuated from a meeting but wasn't allowed to do anything before they left, whatever, he made it home, so life is peachy again, or at least as peachy as it can get all things considered.
