meaning and purpose

Worked today at my old job, 6 hours. Not bad. The money will do me some good. Came home to find a message from the writing center, they want me this quarter. Excellent. 12 hours a week means I can pay the bills for 3 months while I find something with a more full-time flavor. The combination of these have improved my subconscious mood immeasurably. They also mean that, sorry Graham, I will not be visiting this week. Saturday maybe?

Went shopping tonight, needed bread and fruit, which (astoundingly) I had run out of. Amazing how little $20 buys at the market. Am slightly worried about food costs next year.

A little warcraft sounds good. I should finish watching The Last Emperor so I can return it. I hate how that movie's in English. Looks and sounds authentic except it feels dubbed. Very annoying. But that's material for movie_snobs
