waking and turning
Aug. 22nd, 2004 09:21 pmSo I indeed went to Fry's and not church, because I was awake at 7:30 without even setting an alarm, and despite not at all wanting to go riding in a van for the next 4 hours, I had to be awake for some reason so I flipped a coin. Fry's won, I got up and showered.
So we picked Clifton and his brother up, took them to the airport, and turned right around and hit Fry's. Indeed, it is every bit the geek wonderland I've been told it is. I wish they'd build one in a place less shitty than Renton so I could frequent it. Such is living in the upper corner of the country.
I then spent several hours rewiring stuff around the house and playing with my Fry's loot (wireless keyboard, whee!). It was quite relaxing.
Lea then messaged me insisting I drop my playing and join her and Josh at Gordito's, which I wasn't about to say no to. And again, the place was exactly as good as Josh had repeatedly informed me, which is to say it was awesome.
We decided to pick up Erin B and see Garden State at Pacific Place, which was, yet again, as excellent as people have said.
I think that's all I have to say about any of that. Happy birthday, Josh.
I am also now ~$400 poorer but in a week will be two large hard drives richer. Here's to crossed fingers.
I need to get going if I'm going to hit Bellingham before midnight.
