dream frequency
May. 24th, 2005 10:51 amI just spend about 13 hours in bed. No, I wasn't sick, and I don't think there's anything wrong with me. I just crashed about 9pm and didn't move til midnight, at which point I got under the covers and didn't leave.
And while I was tired, I don't think I was 13 hours tired. Which would certainly explain the light, dream-filled sleep. Fortunately they weren't bad dreams, though I think I've been watching too much tactical battle drama (24 and Star Wars make for an interesting mix).
Speaking of which, there was an attempt on Saturday to watch Star Wars straight through, all 6. The only one that made it was Kai, I would've but arrived too late to catch 1. Not that I "missed" it. Har har. It was certainly an interesting experience, and I strongly recommend that anyone that's been going opening weekends try it once. Aside from the "suddenly, everyone's british!" moment at the end of 3, the continuity of characters and story is handled surprisingly well, though of course there are some distinct holes caused by all the referential character appearances in 1-3.
And speaking of 24, the season ended yesterday which means I and everyone get to catch the doubleheader finale tonight. Do try and arrive on time at 8:30, as I'll be ready this time, I promise.
Life has been pretty decent lately. It's been a long time since I've had 13 hours to spend sleeping. That I did it after going to a delicious and enjoyable barbecue at Bloedel Donovan was the icing on the donut. Sometimes my job is awesome.
