Braved the icy roads last night to see Messiah downtown, but despite their assurances at 6:30, the 8pm show was canceled.

Due to the severe difficulty of getting downtown this morning, we rescheduled Kristin's return train to Monday and managed to get the last seat remaining, a 9:45am Starlight. This morning they announced that all Cascades service was canceled for Sunday and only one Starlight was operating, with "extreme delays." Chances of that Monday train working out: falling like the temperature.

We're getting another 1-2 inches right now. Really, I'm trying to work up some annoyance but it hasn't really happened yet. Maybe if my shipment of Christmas presents gets delayed, but I'm sure their recipients will understand: hey, there was a blizzard. Maybe you noticed.

I haven't been able to work up any annoyance either. I have been watching/listening to people's tires spin outside my apartment as they try to drive up the hill and enjoying the pretty :-)
