There are birds here that sing at sunrise, a twee-o twee-o tweeo that I both love and hate. It reminds me of being small and staying up all night playing video games with my friends in my tree fort, but also of staying up having heartbreaking conversations or doing miserable homework assignments.

Tonight was the homework. Thankfully I had a partner in insomnia, and you get used to this sort of thing after a while.

Tomorrow will suck, as will my grade on this assignment, but I've lost all desire to care about either.

Hey, I built most of it too :( But yeah, it was totally rad of him to design something 1000x more awesome than I ever had in mind when I came to him with the idea.
